I’m a bit of a reader, but I have a poor memory. Writing about my reading helps reinforce what I’ve read and it provides a record for future reference. In other words, you’re welcome to read and comment here, but mostly I blog for me.

We’ll cover all sorts of books, but with an emphasis on books about God, His Word, or His people. Because I am a sinner, saved by God’s grace alone, much of my reading is in those areas. I do have broader interests that will be reflected in the occasional work of biography, history, science or math (popular level), classic, or literary fiction reviewed here.
